Roger Mills is the Managing Director of WKI Corporate Services
Roger is a finance specialist with extensive practical experience in corporate finance, company valuation, fund raising and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a PhD in Finance and is also qualified professionally in the UK as a Chartered Management Accountant, Company Secretary and Corporate Treasurer. He has been a member of the UK associations responsible for each of these three professions since qualifying in the 1980s.
Roger has worked for and/or consulted to numerous companies and organisations in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa, Australasia and many countries of the former Soviet Union. In addition, Roger has worked extensively in private equity over the last 20 years, both in an advisory and a personal capacity as an investor. He has also served as an executive director of several large companies and he was a founding member and shareholder in a start-up that achieved a listing on the London stock market in the late 1990s.
Roger has a unique blend of academic and business experience. He was awarded an Emeritus Professorship of Finance and Accounting for life and an honorary degree by Henley Business School in the UK. He is also a part-time Professor of Fundamental Analysis and Business Valuation in Amsterdam. Roger has written numerous articles and books on finance and he can communicate effectively in Spanish, French and Portuguese.
